Isla de Lobos is a small islet located 10 minutes from Fuerteventura with our Water Taxi Corralejo – Isla de Lobos. It is a place of wild nature and beauty without artifice. The island owes its name to the ancient sea lions that inhabited its coasts and has an area of 6 square kilometers framed by almost 14 kilometers of coastline made up of steep cliffs that can be seen from Corralejo. It was declared a Protected Natural Area in 1982 and is part of the Fuerteventura Biosphere Reserve, so authorization from the Fuerteventura council is required to access the islet since 2019.
